Yuk Fai Leung gives talk on Data, Data Collection and Data Sharing

10-13-2017

Yuk Fai Leung was invited by a steering committee in the Office of Research Infrastructure Programs at the National Institutes of Health to attend a workshop on "Zebrafish and Other Fish Models: Description of Extrinsic Environmental Factors for Rigorous Experiments and Reproducible Results" from 9/11/2017 to 9/12/2017. The workshop brought together a group of approximately 30 stakeholders including researchers, facility mangers, veterinarians and journal editors. Their goal was to formulate community guidelines on a minimal set of environmental conditions which need to be presented in publications to ensure rigor and robustness of experiments, and reproducibility of outcomes. During the workshop, Fai gave a talk on "Data, Data Collection and Data sharing".
